Delegates say the change corrects centuries of geographic distortion — which should really help, because up to now the only thing standing between humanity and world peace was Greenland.

Moving on. Bloomberg reports that AI data centers have become a flashpoint in the midterms, with roughly seven in ten Americans saying they don't want one built near them. Both parties are now spending millions on ads attacking data centers — ads that are, of course, targeted, generated, and served to you by a data center.

An animal control officer in Burlington, Massachusetts responded to a report of a lizard in a parking lot and found a mangrove monitor — a large, aggressive species native to Australia and Indonesia — wedged in a car's wheel well. She called a neighboring animal control department for what she described as moral support.

A mustang that escaped in late June and spent more than two months roaming near Liberty Reservoir in Carroll County, Maryland has finally been captured. It took a horse rescue, a professional wrangler, and fifty-nine fence panels arranged into a chute.
