#1AVGO — Broadcom in talks for a $60B+ AI debt package

Bloomberg reports Broadcom is working with lenders on more than $60 billion in debt to finance custom AI chips for Anthropic and other customers, with a roughly $30 billion junior tranche that could push the total raise toward $100 billion. Blackstone and Apollo are in talks to participate, building on the roughly $35 billion XPU financing platform the three set up in June. It would rank among the largest corporate financings ever tied to a single technology buildout.

#2NVDA — Jefferies and UBS flag the biggest revenue beat in company history

Ahead of next Wednesday's Q2 FY27 print, Jefferies models $95 billion in revenue against $92.07 billion consensus, and sees Q3 at $108 billion versus roughly $103.7 billion expected. UBS separately pegs the beat at $3 to $4 billion. Options are pricing about a 7% move on the report; NVDA slipped 0.33% Thursday on above-average volume of 92 million shares.

#3ANTHRO (private) — Anthropic targeting an IPO to match or beat SpaceX's record

Anthropic expects its listing to meet or surpass SpaceX's $86.2 billion June raise, and hopes to file publicly as soon as the end of this month, per Bloomberg sources. Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan are on the deal. Preliminary Q2 revenue topped $11.5 billion against $787 million a year ago, with an annualized run rate near $65 billion by late July. Not yet publicly traded — flagging as a watch item.

#4MU — Micron jumps ~4% as CEO calls memory "strategic infrastructure of the AI era"

Micron closed up 3.97% at $974.33 Thursday, bucking a down tape, after CEO Sanjay Mehrotra told CNBC "there is no AI without memory" and said data-center customers are asking for about 50% more supply than Micron can produce. He argued the industry's old boom-bust cycle is breaking as Micron locks in binding multi-year agreements. Shares are up roughly 209% year to date and traded up 0.58% at $979.94 premarket Friday.

#5CRWD — CrowdStrike slides ~5% on CTO departure days before earnings

Shares fell roughly 5% to about $190 after Bloomberg reported CTO Elia Zaitsev is leaving after 13 years to launch Cognition, an AI-cybersecurity venture fund targeting $170 million. Management has not named a successor. The timing stings: CrowdStrike reports August 26, and the news dragged peers lower, with Palo Alto Networks off 2.84%.

#6SKHY — SK hynix weighing a multitrillion-won memory fab in Japan

Hankyoreh reports SK hynix is considering a memory plant in Miyagi prefecture, potentially tens of trillions of won, which would be the first large-scale Korean chip manufacturing investment in Japan. The company says no decision is final and "any location with the necessary infrastructure" is a candidate. Shares rose 4.5% in Seoul and were up 2.21% at $166.68 premarket Friday.

#7NVDA — Nvidia in early talks with Korean AI chip startup Rebellions

Bloomberg reports Jensen Huang met Rebellions CEO Sunghyun Park in Santa Clara this week to discuss a technical partnership, an investment, or possibly an acquisition. Rebellions builds inference NPUs on Samsung foundry with HBM3E and had been targeting a 2027 IPO. Talks are exploratory, and any deal would draw antitrust attention in the US, EU and South Korea.

#8MRVL / GOOGL — Analysts keep marking up Marvell's Google custom-silicon win

Marvell granted Google a warrant for up to 58,970,907 shares at $206.58, about a $12.2 billion potential stake, exercisable through August 2033, covering inference accelerators, storage and network controllers, and memory interface silicon. The programs could carry roughly $120 billion in revenue through fiscal 2033 if targets are met. Shares surged about 12% on the 8-K, and Wedbush was out Thursday reinforcing the strategic read.

#9MDB / NET — Pre-earnings profit-taking hits AI software

MongoDB fell 4.58% to $420.37 into its August 26 print, where consensus is $553 million revenue and $0.64 EPS. Evercore initiated at Outperform Thursday; Goldman Sachs maintains Buy with a $453 target and Guggenheim carries $560. Cloudflare dropped 4.44% to $278.91 digesting its post-earnings run, while ServiceNow bucked the trend at plus 2%.

#10Macro — Yields push the tape down, but semis hold green

The S&P 500 fell 0.87% to 7,641 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped about 1% to 26,067 on rising bond yields, yet SOXX finished up 0.52% on the Micron and memory bid. Rate risk is the near-term swing factor: the Jackson Hole symposium runs August 27 through 29, with Kevin Warsh delivering his first keynote as Fed chair on Friday the 28th — one day after Nvidia reports.
